Express Recruitment are excited to represent a Finance Services firm based in Nottingham who are looking to hire a Lead Collections Analyst on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will develop and manage end-to-end collection strategies, analyse repayment rates, lead the development of data models, design and implement testing frameworks, and identify opportunities for improvement while ensuring compliance with DCA regulations and CONC requirements.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working within the Financial Services sector with considerable experience in Collections. They will be proficient in handling and analysing large data sets in Excel, along with analysing data using SQL and Python. They must also demonstrate a solid understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Credit requirements and will have previously developed and implemented collections strategies.
They are offering a competitive starting salary of up to c£50,000 per annum D.O.E alongside a generous benefits package including a bonus scheme, 25 days holiday + stats, private healthcare, and the ability to accrue additional holidays proportional to the length of service (maximum 30).
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage end-to-end collections strategies
* Track and analyse repayment rates
* Monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvements across the collections lifecycle
* Lead development of data models to predict customer behaviour
* Collaborate with multiple internal teams
* Enhance customer communication strategies
* Design and implement testing frameworks
* Ensure compliance with DCA regulations and CONC requirements
* Identify opportunities for process improvements
* Innovate arrears collections strategies
* Analyse portfolio trends and key performance indicators
* Develop and maintain management information reports for Senior Stakeholders
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrable experience within Financial Services, especially within Consumer Lending and Collections
* Degree in relevant field preferred (e.g. Mathematics)
* Proficiency with Excel including using advanced features and handling large data sets
* Understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Credit requirements
* Experience analysing data with SQL and Python
* Experienced user of CRM systems such as Salesforce
* Proven presentation skills including ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
* Experience developing and implementing collection strategies
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday
Salary: Up to c£50,000 per annum D.O.E
