A client of ours in the Haverhill area is recruiting a Procurement Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, key duties include but are not limited to:
1. Sourcing and developing supplier relationships
2. Identifying cost reduction opportunities in the supply chain
3. Internal provision of pricing and delivery information
4. Progressing POs
5. Buying parts for stock and the maintenance of purchasing records
6. Managing fleet maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance
7. Handling travel bookings to support business operations efficiently
8. Generating and analysing reports
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Procurement Administrator position:
1. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel including PIVOT Tables
2. Purchasing and Procurement experience essential to be considered for this role
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Experience in using an MRP system desirable
5. Must be able to drive due to attending site visits
