Apex Scotland is the leading employment and training organisation specialising in work with people with convictions, offering a diverse range of services for young people and adults to help them break down barriers to employment and engage in education, employment or community activities. You will be supporting participants, some with complex needs, on our No One Left Behind contracts in Dumfries and Galloway. The service will support individuals along the Apex Scotland Participant Journey, meeting them where they are, with regards to their personal development needs and life circumstances.
The service will help people manage their emotional well-being, build trust and autonomy, and maintain stable lifestyles, including budgeting and money management. There will also be an element of supervising Practitioners and Support Workers to ensure all Participants in Dumfries and Galloway receive a quality and trauma responsive service. You will be Dumfries based but will be required to travel throughout the region.
This post is funded until the end of March 26 with potential for extension. Membership of the Prevention of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required.
