Position: Learning Support Assistant, Location: SEN School, Wirral, Start Date: September

An outstanding SEN school in Wirral is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team this September. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide individualised support to students with diverse special educational needs
2. Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
3. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
4. Encourage and motivate students to participate in classroom activities
5. Track and report on student progress to teachers and parents
To be considered for this position you will:
1. Have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
2. Be a committed professional
3. Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
4. Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
5. Have satisfactory references
6. Have a CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained
7. Have the legal right to work in the UK
