A bit about the role…
A Senior Regional Sales Manager needs to be a strategic thinker with an analytical approach to their work. Calculating & tracking costs from a high-level perspective. We attend over 1000 events a year with the manager being responsible for them in their entirety.
We are looking for someone to shape our London Region and widen our proposition across the entirety of the South, building out and exploring new regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible architecting our sales strategy. The person should be a fantastic people manager, a superb strategist and have a proven record of successfully scaling similar sized sales businesses.
Responsibilities
* Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
* PNL & financial modelling
* Motivating your internal & external sales teams
* Managing the operational side of the business & implementing protocol
* Ensure training is carried out to a high standard and your teams are hitting key KPI's
* Building & modelling out new regions and new opportunities within the UK.
* Report and presenting your teams success to the wider business
* Working closely with the Regional Manager to ensure we are meeting our goals of having a best-in-class sales team
* Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
* Work collaboratively across teams - including Tech, Product and Marketing
* Own our three core metrics: CPA, Growth & Retention
Qualifications
* Experience managing sales teams 15+. This role will have an internal team of 5 and an external team of 70.
* 5 years of relevant sales experience including management of both sales & operations with a track record of exceeding quota
* Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
* Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
* Strong leadership and team building skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Expertise in the Microsoft office suite
* An understanding of the subscription model is a bonus.
Requirements
* Able to work in central London 3 days a week (Located in Soho)
* Weekend work will be required
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
* Experience with working with multi million pound PNL
* 5 years of relevant senior sales manager experience
* Management of teams 15+
