The role:
As National Account Manager you will report into the UK Sales Director. Responsibilities will include:
* Managing a mix of UK customers across grocery & discount retail
* Having full P&L, taking a category-led selling approach and utilising all necessary data
* Managing all key brands across a mix of categories for the business
* Taking the lead on the launch of a new brand into a key grocery retailer
* Being the key point of contact for major UK retailers; must be a strong relationship builder
* Having experience of managing top 4 grocery or discount retailers
* Preferably having operated in a non-food category such as beauty, personal care, home or a related area. Candidates from other FMCG areas or food & drink will also be considered
* Being diligent with numbers, utilising all data to help drive sales
* Being comfortable operating in a manufacturing business and understanding of processes involved
* Being a good team player, having a great attitude and willingness to learn
* This role offers the opportunity to progress to SNAM level quickly
