As our Waste Collection Operative, you’ll support the continued growth of the business by collecting waste from client sites throughout the Southwest and South Wales. This is a fulltime position, working 40 hours a week. Because some sectors we work in involve close contact with vulnerable or young people, successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Your main duties as our Waste Collection Operative will include: Collecting waste from premises post-completion and during work. The role will include a lot travel across our Southwest region and may sometimes require overnight stays. Comply with Sherwoods Health, Safety and Environment Policy, always uphold the duty of care to self and others, and acknowledge and advise on RAMs before commencing work. Attend the site and carry out all relevant Waste Collections as required, leaving the site clean and professional. Safely load and transport items that need to be collected. Visit and dispose of Waste via our Approved Network of Recycling Facilities and Supply Chain Partners.
