Job Title: Forest School Lead Practitioner
Salary: Scale 5 point 12-17 £8,328-£9,034 (pro rata actual salary)
Hours: 13 hours per week 8.30am-3.30pm (30 minutes lunch)
Working Pattern: Part time (two days per week) Term time only
Contract type: Permanent

Rose Hill primary school is a successful two and a half form entry primary school in Marple, Stockport.
We have an established Forest School provision and are seeking a qualified Forest School Leader to build and develop on the work that has already been done.
We have a large site with plenty of outdoor space including a large field, an allotment, a pond and a considerably large, wooded area. A significant amount of Forest School development has already taken place within our grounds.
The successful applicant will:
1. Have a Level 3 Forest School Programme Leadership Certificate (or at least Level 2 working towards Level 3)
2. Experience of working with and planning outdoor activities for children aged 3 to 11 years and the ability to work on own initiative
3. Have a creative approach to the outdoor curriculum and deliver learning in exciting ways
4. Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
5. Have the ability to plan and resource structured outdoor learning opportunities for primary school children through the day all year round
Hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate, (or be willing to undertake the training)
Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (or be willing to undertake the training)
