Remuneration : AHP3 ($104,180 - $111,746 p.a. + 11.5% Superannuation) / PO3 ($101,285 - $107,078 p.a. + 11.5% Superannuation)
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Supervisor to join the Kadina office on a full-time basis.
The role is responsible for :
* Providing leadership, development and performance of a designated work team and management of social work / case management practice and standards.
* Promoting professional social work practice by enabling culturally inclusive and holistic intervention methodologies that achieve successful practice outcomes.
* Ensuring that assessment frameworks and evidence based research is used to develop and implement relevant, inclusive and accessible services to client groups.
* Contributing to strategic leadership, business planning and review policies associated to work practices.
About You
We are looking for a motivated leader who will actively promote professional social work practice in their team and will develop and lead staff to achieve quality results.
A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing will allow you to develop and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
You will have proven experience in supervising a team, managing and prioritising workloads, conflict resolution and have the ability to lead culturally competent and diverse practice.

The Region
Kadina is the largest town on the Yorke Peninsula and is one of three Copper Triangle towns famous for their shared copper mining history. The Kadina office employs approximately 30 people and is one of five offices in the northern region. As a member of this team, you will work with other professionals to deliver child protection services to children and families in the local community of Kadina and surrounding areas.

Special Conditions
AHP : A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
PO : Appropriate degree qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or related field.
Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged / assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a qualification in Social Work within the Department for Child Protection (DCP).
