St Bartholomew’s Hospital, the oldest hospital in England with some of the newest facilities, is home to world-leading cardiac and cancer centres, providing state-of-the-art treatment to our patients in the very heart of the City of London. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Outpatient Breast Clinic Nursing team at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. The right candidate must be flexible, approachable, caring and compassionate plus an excellent communicator. Experience of the health service is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be given to the appointed individual.

As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.
· To provide support to Nursing staff and other healthcare professionals by giving direct patient care and providing other support and administrative services under supervision.
· Provides Chaperone services in clinical settings.
· To assist in the maintenance of infection control.
· To undertake customer care training and implement best practice when dealing with patients, relatives and other members of staff.
· To demonstrate a flexible approach to team work within the department.
· To undertake other duties within scope of practice as requested by Nurse in charge.
· To support clinics throughout the department within St Bartholomew’s Hospital
