Are you an Aircraft Fitter looking to transition into an Aircraft Engineer? This role is for you!
You’ll work on advanced rotorcraft while gaining the experience needed to progress from Aircraft Engineer to a fully licensed engineer through the dedicated career development program.
The responsibilities of an Aircraft Fitter?
You will replace and install mechanical and electrical components according to maintenance schedules and repair needs.
* Assist licensed engineers and technicians with inspections and repairs, though not certifying the work.
* Collaborate with licensed engineers, fitters, and other team members to ensure efficient aircraft maintenance operations.
* Overhaul and reassemble components.
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults using diagnostic tools.
* Conduct functional testing and adjustments.
* Maintain records of maintenance activities.
* Adhere to safety protocols and aviation regulations.
* Participate in training for Licensed Engineer certification.
What are we looking for in our next Aircraft Fitter?
* Experience as an Aircraft Fitter / Aircraft Assembler
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship or formal training program or possess equivalent qualifications and experience.
* Commitment to pursue a Licensed Engineer certification.
* Understanding of aviation safety regulations.
* Experince in rotary craft – Desirable
