Job Title: Retail Manager - Esso Petrol Station with Morrisons Daily

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of both the petrol station and Morrisons Daily store.
-Ensure efficient stock management, including ordering, receiving, and minimizing waste.
-Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the store and forecourt.
-Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
-Manage fuel deliveries and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Team Leadership:
-Recruit, train, and motivate a team of retail assistants.
-Create and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage.
-Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
-Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Customer Service:
-Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
-Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
-Promote and maintain a customer-focused culture.
Financial Management:
-Manage cash handling and ensure accurate till operations.
-Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
-Control costs and minimize losses.
-complete daily and weekly financial reports.
Compliance and Safety:
-Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
-Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments.
-Ensure all staff are trained on age restricted sales.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
-Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a petrol station or convenience store environment.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
-Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of stock management and inventory control.
-Financial literacy and experience with cash handling.
-Experience with age restricted sales.
-Basic computer skills.
-A personal license to sell alcohol is desirable.
Salary Range:
£32,600 - £39,600 per annum, depending on experience.
