We are looking for two Senior Information Analysts to play a crucial role in delivering clear, accurate, and concise information that supports the Trust's business and clinical functions. By analysing and interpreting complex data sets, you will produce high-quality management information for senior managers and clinical staff while offering expertise on specialised information issues.
You will be instrumental in maintaining, developing, and enhancing reporting systems, particularly in areas like contracting and performance monitoring, ensuring timely and accurate local and national data submissions. Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels is a key aspect of this role.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and mentorship of other team members, fostering growth and collaboration within the team. Main duties of the job
The Business Intelligence Unit is responsible for providing information analysis to the Trust's directorates as well as providing expertise in support of the Trust's billing processes. The post holder primarily has responsibility for the development and provision of information to the Trust and its external agencies.
In addition, this includes the provision of performance monitoring reports and statutory returns to external agencies including Integrated Care Boards (ICB), Clinical Support Units (CSUs), Local Health Boards (Wales), NHS England and other external stakeholders.

Responsible for the development, preparation and maintenance of high quality analytical reports from clinical systems to support the Trust in performance management, clinical and operational processes.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree or equivalent educational level
Experience
* Ability and experience to present information with a high level of accuracy to a wide range of audiences both verbally and electronically (e.g. charts graphs, reports, scorecards, tables, dashboards etc.)
* An analytical mindset and ability to explain trends and themes in data.
* Good understanding of the importance of data quality
* Ability to challenge and manage user expectations
* The ability to exercise own initiative and work independently to achieve objectives and deadlines.
* Good understanding of patient pathways
Knowledge & Skills
* Intermediate knowledge and highly skilled in the use of MS Excel.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of NHS Data Dictionary including datasets, data standards and data modelling concepts
* Excellent problem solving skills to the development of advanced analytical methodologies.
* Intermediate SQL, Analytics and IT skills.
