Job Description : Supply Planning Analyst Reporting To : Sales and Operations planning manager Status : Full Time Location : Hybrid working. On site in Irlam/Manchester 3 days per week. Background · ACDOCO (Dr Beckmann) is part of a 3rd generation family-owned business, Delta Pronatura which manufactures and distributes household, laundry, health and beauty brands to more than 80 countries internationally. Here in the UK, Acdoco provides sales, marketing and distribution services to specialist and premium brands in the household & laundry and health & beauty categories within the UK and Republic of Ireland. Role Description As an integral part of our Sales and Operational planning team, the Supply Planning Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with Acdoco’s suppliers, Commercial teams and wider business to deliver the required customer demand of all Acdoco products, on time and in full. This means working closely with our Sales and Operational planning Manager to ensure that accurate sales forecasts are maintained, and robust supply plans are managed with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply. This includes liaising with multiple stake holders and customers to obtain relevant demand data in order to effectively estimate the short, medium & long term future product demands, whilst managing inventory flows, managing the product portfolio, analysing statistical data, and effectively implementing new processes whilst driving continuous improvement within the department and wider business. Role Responsibilities · Generation and management of stock purchase orders, to ensure they are raised and delivered within the expected timeframes. · Proactively monitor product availability, identify supply gaps and support on action plans. · Manage and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure continuity of supply, whilst avoiding overstocking. · Build strong working partnerships with suppliers and act as the primary link between suppliers and the wider business, to build robust supply/forecast plans and manage/monitor suppliers performance. · Analyse sales trends and reports to help support the commercial team on building short and long term forecasts to achieve the KPI forecast accuracy targets. · Analyse data to generate reports and insights to share with the wider business and external stakeholders. · Maintain product information database to include updates on legislation, packaging, plastic etc. · Work intuitively, proactively and perform any other duties as reasonably required to support the business. · Championing best practices, processes and driving continuous improvement within the team. · Deputising for the Sales and Operational planning manager when appropriate. Applicants Skills, Experience & Qualifications : · Driven and ambitious individual, with a can do mindset. · Highly proficient in the use of MS Office systems including Excel, PowerPoint & Word. · High level of accuracy and attention to detail. · Successful working within a fast-paced environment, responding positively to pressure & actioning responses. · Able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders in different positions. · Highly analytical with experience of detailed & accurate forecasting. · Able to manipulate raw data to provide in depth reports with explanation. · Commercially astute & competent. · Preferable, but not essential - Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Data Analysis, customer services.
