We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and friendly person for the role of Assistant Business Manager to support and manage our committed and hardworking Finance Team. The Finance Team is based at Chulmleigh Community College and are responsible for the processing of all financial data for our three primary schools in addition to the College.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Academy Business Manager offering the very best support to our staff, pupils and parents. Full training and a comprehensive handover will be provided to ensure a smooth transition for this key role.
The Assistant Business Manager will oversee the functions of the finance team and main responsibilities will include:
1. Payroll reconciliation with Devon County Council and budget software
2. Staffing analysis for audits
3. Teachers Pensions Audit and the monthly pension tasks
4. Updating the budgeting software with staff changes
5. Reconciling staff claims casual hours)
6. Oversight of childcare vouchers and Cyclesheme
7. Preparing management reports
8. Preparing budget monitors
9. Completing Budget Forecast Return annually
10. Preparing the bacs batch weekly
