Salary: Circa £70,000 depending on qualification and experience What you’ll be doing: Supporting the Situational Awareness Command and Control Delivery Team in the generation, delivery and review of Acceptance, Assurance and Integration of the Maritime Multi Links (MML) capability Managing the preparations for the conduct, delivery and review of Acceptance, Assurance and Integration of the capability Providing leadership and guidance when supporting the customer in liaison with all external stakeholders to meet the installation of the capability Supporting the Test and Trials Manager to Facilitate and Manage Integration Trials and Sea Trials in support of the Maritime Multi Links (MML) programme Assisting the MML Senior Engineering Manager and the wider team through the provision of specialist engineering expertise as required Leading on the Engineering Management of Maritime Multi Links Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) tasks assigned to Engineers Your skills and experiences: Essential: Proven ability to operate in a large, complex project at engineering management level in a multi-disciplinary, matrix management environment Background in systems engineering, and the associated lifecycle processes Desirable: Knowledge of Combat System Equipment used in the Maritime Environment and experience of system integration and trials Experience of Combat systems in a trials andor operational environment Degree qualified or equivalent experience, likely to be in a technology, engineering, science or IT related discipline. Some disciplines may require a Masters level education. Chartered Engineer, or other relevant, equivalent professional registration. Member of appropriate professional institution, ideally working towards Fellow. The Maritime Multi Link (MML) team: Join a dynamic award-winning team of experts, integrating the new Maritime Multi Link capability onto frontline warships. You’ll collaborate with systems engineers, project managers, and senior leaders, gaining exposure across the business. Engage in customer and supplier interactions, supporting the implementation and maintenance of this innovative technology on ships already in service. You will be reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, ensuring your contributions are recognised.
