Participant Support Manager for the Work and Health Programme (WHP)
This is a great opportunity for an organised and dynamic individual to support our participants move into sustainable employment. The role involves assessing, motivating, inspiring and intervention planning with participants to enable them to gain suitable employment. This will be achieved through partnership building with new and existing local community networks and specialist supply chain partners. Support managers are adept at identifying skills and employment opportunities and promoting these to individuals.
This role is perfect for someone who has proven experience of supporting people with a wide range of barriers into sustainable employment. Equally, we would be open to individuals who have the right skills and abilities who would like to train to be a successful support manager. As part of a successful team, you will have the support of experienced colleagues and managers.
Our support managers are highly self-motivated, innovative, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about supporting their participants. It is essential to demonstrate that you have a strong track record of successfully working towards targets, whilst being people-focused and able to gain real reward in empowering positive change in our participants' lives. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be second-to-none, and you will be flexible and proactive in your approach to work.
Full time – 37 hours per week
Salary range - £23,541 - £27,041 per annum dependant on skills & experience
Location - Based in Hastings, with some travel across East Sussex for team meetings
Funding - WHP is funded by the DWP and funded until 2024.
The post is subject to a DBS check.
