About the role
The UCL Institute of the Americas is seeking to fill an Associate Lecturer (Teaching) position in Gender, Politics, and Society in the Americas. The position is to cover the teaching of a colleague on sabbatical leave. The postholder will carry out teaching and administration within the Institute relating to the module Gender, Politics and Society in the Americas. Teaching for the module will take place on Fridays. The expected starting salary is £46, per annum pro rata, inclusive of London Allowance. About you
Applicants must have a PhD in a subject relevant to Gender, Politics, and Society in the Americas, either awarded or with viva date set. They should have proven experience of teaching and assessment at university level in the field of Gender, Politics, and Society in the Americas, as well as the ability to convene the module: ‘Gender, Politics, and Society in the Americas’. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to provide effective pastoral support for students.
