Reporting to the Shift Team Leader and O&M Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the plant is operated with respect to safety, environmental and operational limits at all times, whilst maximising availability, reliability, efficiency and ensuring the plant is dispatching in consultation with PPA/DNO to fulfil system operator and PPA arrangements. In consultation with the Shift Team Leader and authorisations, ensure the release of plant/apparatus is made in line with agreed planning schedule and the sites safety rules. Part of the shift team to actively deliver, using ‘on-shift’ resources, the planned and reactive first line maintenance, operational routines and testing requirements, to achieve availability and reliability targets required. Ensure adherence with and the development of all site operations procedures and management instructions. Undertake the role of the Shift Team Leader from time to time, as per delegated authority and having achieved the required authorisations. To work flexible working patterns in support of the business, able to change working patterns where necessary in order to meet the needs of the business. Carry out other such responsibilities and duties commensurate with the position as required by the company. Some occasional and ad-hoc national travel may be required.
