We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Surfacing Agent to manage large-scale surfacing projects in the South West. The Role As a Senior Surfacing Agent, you will: Manage Resources Efficiently : Organize labor, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are completed efficiently and economically, meeting agreed profit targets. Project Coordination : Attend scheme handover meetings to understand pricing assumptions, resource allocation, site constraints, client expectations, and health and safety requirements. Business Development : Support the surfacing division in marketing efforts, helping to attract new customers while retaining existing ones. Quality Assurance : Ensure all work is conducted to the highest standards of quality and oversee Chargehand’s compliance responsibilities. Health & Safety : Take an active role in health and safety, ensuring all policies and processes are followed. To find out more about the role, please take a look at the role profile About You We are seeking a candidate who: Project Management Expertise : Can manage and coordinate a range of surfacing projects effectively. Health & Safety Commitment : Is dedicated to health and safety, ensuring all project participants adhere to relevant policies and procedures. Commercial Acumen : Has a solid understanding of project costing, payments, and compensation events. Qualifications : Holds an HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction with significant surface treatment and construction experience. Licenses and Certifications : Possesses a full UK Driving Licence, Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification, and a Site Supervisor's CSCS Card.
