We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Manager to guide the organisation to the summit by creating and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) using common project tools & a governance process that is “right sized” and focused on adding value that supports the delivery of our ambitions. This role is offered on a hybrid basis so that you benefit from the balance of working three days a week from our modern office space and two days a week working from home. To establish a PMO structure suitable for the PPL PRS infrastructure and managing using a suite of standard tools To support project selection To project manage projects be they Mandatory, Strategic or Business Improvements To work alongside stakeholders and the finance team to ensure business cases for projects are defined and achievable business benefits are documented for all projects To work alongside stakeholders to define a projects scope, establish baselines and goals, completing project definition documents for sponsor sign off To ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed, owning escalation when required To ensure that project plans are defined, maintained, and shared with project teams To lead and motivate project teams even when not direct reports To track project performance, identify project creep and slippage are delivered on time to budget Establish suitable reporting mechanisms and reporting frequencies To support implementation of projects, including change management activities to ensure projects are embedded To support the wider Technology & Operational Excellence team in understanding the impact, documenting requirements, and planning the delivery of enhancement / minor technology changes To display excellent leadership skills and build relationships to manage both executive level and shareholder stakeholders Qualifications & Experience Experience in the workings of a Project Management Office managing multiple cross discipline projects At least 4 years working experience in a project management role essential Proven experience of managing and delivering successful multidiscipline large-scale projects Project Management certification – PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or similar Experience in Agile Project Management Working knowledge of a project management tools or software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experienced in managing executive level stakeholders Experience in managing a project budget – forecasting costs, tracking actuals, forecasting product revenue and tangible or intangible benefits Able to construct and deliver presentations, presenting options and clear recommendations to a professional standard Working knowledge of Microsoft Office essential Must be organised and able to manage own priorities and workload Experience in collating and distributing progress reporting to senior stakeholders PPL PRS is an equal opportunities employer.
