We believe that retaining cost-competitiveness across the business water market requires a data-driven approach where analytics and insight inform key decision making. The FP&A team is part of the wider Finance team who are responsible for Wave's core finance and commercial activities. We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to support the FP&A team and to continue developing our existing reporting and analytics suites. The FP&A Analyst will provide support across multiple different subject areas, engaging with our business leaders and managers to communicate key insights on performance and cost drivers. The role will suit you if you have an analytical mindset with the ability to present and communicate your findings in an impactful way. WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE? Preparing and distributing accurate and timely month-end/weekly financial reports throughout the business for different subject areas. Supporting the business through the delivery of new analytics requests. Partnering with various departments across Wave's operational and commercial directorates championing process improvement. Providing financial insight to aid in strategic decision making. Working with our Digital team to translate current and new reporting demands into detailed development requirements that support full process automation. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Highly numerate with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Ability to present complex data and analysis in a high impact visual manner to senior stakeholders, drawing out the key messages and findings. Strong organisation and planning skills to deliver information accurately and on time. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and process improvement.
