Job Description:
What’s the Role: Admin Officer
Praxis Care supports individuals with learning disabilities, mental ill health, dementia, acquired brain injury, and complex needs throughout Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, and Isle of Man.
We are currently going through an exceptional period of growth. Due to this growth and outstanding career development opportunities, we currently have the following vacancies within our England based Complex Care Services:
Where You Would Work: Greater Manchester Complex Care Supported Living Service.
Praxis Care has opened a new supported living service in Greater Manchester. The office base for the Administrative Assistant post will be in our Bury office, whilst our Service User homes are in the Moston area. As the service develops, we will deliver services in areas preferred by our Service Users. Our services provide innovative and bespoke packages of care to some of the most vulnerable people in the area who are experiencing a degree of learning disability and enduring mental health issues. A number will have been in long term institutional placements and will require an extended period of readjustment to community living - this is where our services come in.
Praxis Care believes in delivering high standards of support to those we engage with. The Administrative Officer will be required to support both the manager and the staff team in the delivery of administration tasks from the office base primarily. Some limited travel might be required between services to deliver documents and petty cash, but the bulk of the work will be at the main office in Bury where the service Registered Manager is also based. We need someone who can provide secretarial support, develop templates and spreadsheets, upload information to our corporate dashboard, maintain and implement filing systems, and work independently at times.
Why Praxis Care:
Are you looking for a career that will develop you, challenge you, and allow you to make a difference in the lives of others?
Then Look No Further! We CARE at Praxis CARE!
Praxis Care supports individuals with mental ill health, autism, learning disabilities, and dementia; providing innovative, professional, high-quality support services to people across the spectrum of need and particularly at the higher level of complexity in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, England, and the Isle of Man.
As an organisation we are dedicated to ensuring that all of our employees are equipped to carry out their role. We therefore provide comprehensive training that all employees complete before taking up their new career within Praxis which will cover all of the information and training you will need.
