More About Your Role
We are seeking a Homeless Support Worker to join our team in Bristol and the surrounding areas, working across our new Bristol low support service. Your role will involve supporting the safe and continued provision of accommodation for vulnerable customers in our supported living schemes.
You will work closely with customers to develop, deliver, and coordinate housing and intensive housing management services for vulnerable individuals in temporary dispersed accommodation across the area.
The role requires collaboration with customers, colleagues, and external agencies to deliver a high-standard, holistic service. You will be responsible for signing up new customers, providing advice on welfare and benefits, maintaining the scheme, conducting risk assessments, and managing health and safety protocols. You will also coordinate with the housing management team regarding repairs, voids, and maintenance.
Please note that you will work 36.25 hours per week over a 5-day period. This position is subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, and all employment offers are contingent upon receiving two satisfactory references.

You should possess a good understanding of housing management best practices, letting procedures, and tenancy compliance. Prior experience supporting vulnerable client groups is essential.
