Description
1. Process and review in a timely and accurate manner all aspects of payroll.
2. This includes, but is not limited to, accurately processing SMP, SPP, SSP in compliance with HMRC rules and company policies and procedures.
3. Work with Head of Payroll to design payroll processes, procedures, and approaches for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
4. Work closely with the Finance Team to own payroll period end, including but not limited to posting payroll journals.
5. Assist in the management of relationships with external Payroll and T&A providers.
6. Process, check, and pay all personal expenses incurred by team members.
7. Stay current on regulations, benefits changes, and labour laws impacting the payroll process, and ensure compliance for all payroll tax jurisdictions.
8. Build excellent relationships with all stakeholders to provide our team members with a first-class payroll experience.
9. Work with Head of Payroll to review, implement, and communicate new releases within the payroll software.
10. Check payroll reports and take ownership of investigating and resolving all payroll queries.
11. Assist in the preparation of relevant management reports, metrics, and statistics as needed.
12. Ensure all payroll regulatory filings are completed timely and accurately.
13. Understand pension auto-enrolment requirements and manage the implementation of employer automatic enrolment duties.
14. Manage, process, and review salary sacrifice schemes.
15. Manage and process Payroll Year End, P11Ds, and payrolling benefits.
16. Any other reasonable request.
