Job Overview
As a Technical Project Manager at Salience, you will play a vital role in driving the development of our active photonic switches for high-volume deployment. Based in Oxford with the expectation of on-site presence three days a week, you will leverage your project management expertise to align complex engineering projects with company goals, ensure timely and efficient delivery, and enhance project management processes.

️ What you'll be doing
* Aligning project objectives with company goals, ensuring all multi-disciplinary teams are clear on deliverables.
* Acting as the voice of the product team and key stakeholders when required.
* Representing the voice of users/customers, understanding their needs, and proposing creative and efficient solutions.
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across the full product lifecycle using the Salience Labs Product Development Process (PDP).
* Proactively identifying challenges during project execution and proposing practical solutions.
* Coordinating project progress and quality to meet deadlines.
* Leading communications with external partners when necessary.
* Analysing products to propose improvements and new features.
* Maintaining all project documentation, tracking, and reporting within the product team and across departments.
What we're looking for
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering field, ideally Electrical Engineering.
* Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office tools.
* At least 2 years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
* Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, even in non-hierarchical settings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Self-starter attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
Even better if you
* Hold a PMP or similar project management certification.
* Have familiarity with photonics technologies and applications.
