Location: Sheffield / London / Hybrid Working (Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £52,000 depending on location and experience
THE ROLE
In this position you will work closely with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and workforce needs to ensure alignment with our HR strategies and initiatives to achieve the overall business goals and drive organisational success. This will require you to act as a trusted partner and integral part of the team to provide expert HR guidance and advice to business leaders on various people-related matters such as talent management, organisational development, and employee engagement. You will collaborate with the business to embed our talent strategies, succession plans, and workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to meet current and future business needs.
You will also be required to be a change agent supporting organisational changes such as restructuring or process improvements, and helping to mitigate resistance to change and facilitate smooth transitions by implementing effective change management strategies.
This role will also involve coaching line managers and leaders to build their people management skills to enable them to be self-sufficient.
With good experience and knowledge of Operational HR processes and Employee Relations including disciplinary, grievance, and capability management, you will be able to demonstrate a good level of commercial awareness, and experience of influencing and challenging at all levels of seniority. Experience of developing and supporting line managers through change, and interpreting, analysing and understanding of HR data is also desirable.
