Payroll Manager, Hospitality Group, (Hybrid) Leeds. £40,000
We seek a vibrant Payroll Manager with a strong focus on people to join this exceptional People Team. Reporting to the People Director, this role primarily involves meticulously managing and processing the company's payroll, along with related HR responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities:
1. Verify fortnightly payroll figures and authorize payroll processing.
2. Handle advances, back payments, deductions, and salary sacrifice components.
3. Ensure accurate recording and management of holidays and absences.
4. Oversee pension contributions and submit pension payments.
5. Complete Office of National Statistics surveys monthly and annually.
6. Administer the Fourth People system.
7. Offer guidance on the payroll system and address payroll-related inquiries.
8. Ensure accurate generation of reports such as P60s, P45s, etc.
9. Calculate and submit P11Ds.
10. Maintain compliance with National Minimum Wage legislation.
11. Maintain records to comply with auditors and government legislation.
12. Process court orders and make corresponding deductions.
Key Skills & Experience:
13. Previous experience in a Payroll Manager role is essential.
14. Essential understanding of HR policies and processes related to Payroll.
15. Experience with payroll software, particularly Fourth Hospitality, is advantageous.
16. Proficiency in Excel is essential.
17. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
18. Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
19. Organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
20. Strong attention to detail.
