Middleweight Graphic Designer
Award-winning Think! has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and exceptionally creative Middleweight Graphic Designer to join our team on a 6-month fixed term full-time basis.
We are looking for someone with a passion and deep interest in all things creative and design. The candidate must be willing to work across multiple projects with both blue-chip companies as well as start-ups. Working as part of the studio team, the person will be expected to produce project deliverables to an exceptionally high standard with guidance from our senior designer and Creative Director.
The types of project deliverables that the Middleweight Graphic Designer will work on include:
1. Creating design concepts across an array of brands and projects
2. Delivering visual identity and communications packages including exhibitions, signage, templates, vehicle liveries, and wayfinding
3. Designing corporate literature; specifically artwork, print production, and liaison
4. Creating brand identities; specifically marketing and communications materials
5. Designing websites for smart devices and liaising with web developers
Specific skills required for the role:
1. Solid understanding of the design process and experience across the entire design strategy
2. Good experience in brand and design strategic thinking
3. Great skills in creating bespoke brands/identities
4. Motion graphics experience (After Effects) a bonus
5. Confidence in expressing ideas and presentation skills
6. Great experience in artwork, print production techniques, and print management
7. Actively interested in keeping up to date with design trends and technology
8. Self-motivated with good timekeeping
9. Experience of working directly with clients and wider project teams
10. Expert Apple Mac user
11. Experience of MS Office
12. Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud
Qualifications required:
Essential 2.1 in Qualifications - BA(Hons) degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field.
