Transport Supervisor Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire Permanent Role - 40 Hours a Week Shift Patterns: Morning Shift: 5:30 am- 2:30 pm Day Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Late Shift: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Required to cover a Saturday morning shift on a 1-in-3 rotation, paid at 1.5x the standard rate (shifts are rotation but the team is as flexible as possible) Are you an experienced Transport Supervisor looking for a rewarding opportunity? Key Responsibilities: Ensure driver and vehicle availability, complying with legislation and company policies. Supervise daily vehicle checks and ensure operational compliance. Manage transport administration, including disposal data, timesheets, tachographs, and KPI reports. Work closely with fleet management to ensure efficient vehicle allocation and operations. Plan and allocate resources according to customer demands and tight deadlines. What We're Looking For: Experience in Transport & Compliance: Preferably with a driver background, but strong office and administrative skills are essential. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department. Customer service experience and a track record of meeting customer expectations. Good administration and organization skills to manage transport operations effectively.
