We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our team at Ventrica!
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. You will lead the design, development and support of major business applications.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
1. Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements. Create technical designs with the view to implementing these solutions in an n-tier environment, taking into account performance, scalability and impact on existing systems and the running of the business.
2. CI-CD
3. Develop solutions adhering to technical designs, business requirements and development standards.
4. Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
5. Test and document applications.
6. Follow company guidelines for deployment and change control.
7. Provide accurate development estimates, deliver complete components/solutions on schedule.
8. Engage with customers.
9. Support Managers to manage the key risks within your department.
KEY SKILLS:
Essential
* Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology.
* Well versed in the following web and software development tools and methodologies:
o C#.net
o JSON
o DevOps
o JavaScript (nodeJS)
o Azure
o ServiceBuses
o Data Pipelines
o SQL including SSRS and SSAS
o XML
* Able to work independently to design and build a functional software product.
* Able to test and critically review code of your peers.
* Able to write maintainable, well documented code.
* Able to work with other developers to contribute to the development of a single product.
Desirable
* Agile methodologies.
* Power BI.
* Previous development experience with Zendesk, Twilio, and Botpress.
