Overview
Creating and building beautiful award-winning homes is what we do at Dandara. Homes that combine innovative design with only the highest standards of quality which is something we have been doing for over 30 years. It’s part of the reason why we’re one of the UK’s most respected private housebuilders. And so is how we work with local communities to ensure our homes are designed in such a way that they enhance and complement their surroundings beautifully.
As part of our continued expansion in our Eastern region, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team, reporting to the Commercial Director, providing budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites that include Private, Affordable, and Build to Rent residential schemes across East Anglia.
What you Will Do
The role involves general project coordination and administration, preparation and negotiation of initial site budgets, subcontract procurement, and obtaining risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation from subcontractors. You will also undertake site visits and inspections and coordinate these with management and subcontractors on site.
You will be responsible for carrying out subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements. You will liaise with other departments and external consultants in respect of cost issues and will be responsible for issuing interim payment applications to RSL Partners.
