Client Director, Consumer Products & Consumer Health
About the job you’re considering
As a Client Director for one of our prestigious Group accounts, you will be responsible for driving major transactions for Capgemini UK. You will lead, frame, and drive business opportunities, leveraging the Capgemini Delivery teams. This includes shaping and framing propositions to meet client requirements while working alongside Sector Leadership, Service Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and Proposal Development teams. You will be responsible for sales closure of deals following Capgemini processes and achieving substantial targets including bookings, revenues, and profitability.
Your ability to assimilate complex Capgemini business propositions will guide client conversations, focusing on achieving relevant, measurable business outcomes. Client need and issue discovery skills are critical, as is the ability to switch between issue discovery and proposition qualification throughout the client relationship and ongoing deal and account management.
You will have in-depth knowledge of the Global Consumer Products and Consumer Health industry, understanding business value drivers and trends across Modern Trade and Emerging Markets. You will work with client business executives and the client’s technology, data, and digital organization, connecting end-to-end solution narratives from disruptive innovation to business transformation.
Hybrid working: The locations you work from will vary according to your role, needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will not be able to work at home 100% of the time.
If successfully offered this position, you will undergo a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
Working closely with the Client team and the Market Unit & Delivery Unit Management teams, you will create and drive your own pipeline, aligned with your defined overall account strategy. Originating and nurturing business development and new revenue streams will be key focus areas.
Much of your activity will consider the active competition of other suppliers within the Ecosystem, alongside multiple Alliance and sub-contractor relationships developed over time.
You will be central to the ongoing communication needs of managing a large complex client, ensuring alignment among distributed teams across the UK and India to the account direction and achievements/challenges.
You will represent Capgemini to the client, developing relationships at Executive level across both Technology and Business sides of the account. This role presents a significant opportunity to lead and grow one of our Group accounts while developing your own identity and Client Executive career at Capgemini.
You will be expected to represent the client in Monthly reviews, maintaining a high level of accuracy in forecasting account activity.
You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini, equity, diversity, and inclusion are part of everyday life, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
