Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with our unique client based in the heart of Dundee to recruit a Product Owner on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Senior Management Team, you will have experience of working in a similar role in the past and possess a degree within Computer Science or a similar field. Time management and organisational skills will be amongst your key attributes alongside your problem solving and analytical mindset.
You will be confident managing the entire product development process ranging from gaining an understanding of the market requirements through to working with stakeholders on product development.
On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities
2. Collect business requirements from customers to support and improve product
3. Working as part of a development team to devise and plan technical solutions to customer problems
4. Maintaining a product backlog and prioritising work items based on customer requirements, value, and effort
5. Writing clear and concise user stories to produce acceptance criteria for the development team
6. Writing documentation, communicating release information and note taking in meetings.
7. Identifying and delivering a minimum viable product
8. Managing regular iterative product releases and incorporating feedback into subsequent sprints
9. Demonstrating new features to stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure requirements are met
10. Facilitating workshops for requirements gathering, planning and refinement.
