About the Role As a Complex Needs Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with students who require tailored support due to physical, emotional, or learning challenges. Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff, you’ll ensure that every student receives the care and guidance they need to succeed. Responsibilities of the Complex Needs Support Assistant: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with complex needs. Help students develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Collaborate with teaching staff to create effective support strategies. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care. Requirements for the Complex Needs Support Assistant Role: Previous experience as a Complex Needs Support Assistant or in a similar SEN role. A passion for working with students with additional needs and a commitment to making a difference. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
