Alexander Steele recruitment are looking for a HR Administrator initially for a three-month period with a leading food company based in the Glasgow area. The company boasts a range of products from ambient to frozen produce. Our client work with a range of leading food manufacturing brands from all over Scotland, providing supplies to many well-known hotels, restaurants and food retail outlets. We are looking for a driven, experienced and adaptable HR administrator to join their team to help drive their HR team and ensure that the business can run smoothly during a very exciting period of growth.

Key responsibilities:
* Time and attendance management
* HR management- contract generation, recruitment, right to work status management
* Discipline management
* New employee inductions and employee development)
* Payroll management
* Annual leave management
* General HR admin duties
Experience and skills required:
* Previous HR Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in an HR administrative or assistant role, preferably within the food or manufacturing industry.
* Onboarding & Offboarding: Experience in coordinating the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
* Data Entry & Reporting: Proven ability to handle large volumes of sensitive data accurately and assist in generating HR-related reports.
* Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and support HR colleagues with various tasks and initiatives as needed.
* Problem-Solving: Strong ability to address employee queries, resolve HR-related issues, and maintain a positive work environment.
