TRANSPORT & DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR – PERMANENT
38 HOURS PER WEEK – NO WEEKENDS! EVERY OTHER FRIDAY OFF!
£30,000 PER ANNUM
KPI Recruiting are excited to have partnered with a highly reputable manufacturing company, who are currently looking to recruit a TRANSPORT & DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR to join their growing team on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate who has experience working in a similar role, and is looking to join a friendly team with plenty of room for long-term career growth! Please note, this role is split between the warehouse/yard and transport office - and will include FLT and loading tasks.
The Successful Candidate Will Be:
* Inspecting manufactured products prior to shipment
* Implementing systems and procedures to streamline transport operations
* Working closely with stock control department, handling and investigating discrepancies
* Safely loading goods onto trucks using FLT
* Maintaining an accurate manifest of products and updating daily
* Planning and routing shipments UK and Worldwide
* Liaising closely with third party transport companies and carriers
* Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on deliveries
* Processing all export documentation and certificates
* Assigning and attaching relevant paperwork and parts to each load to ensure traceability
* Dealing with damages prior to despatch
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working in a transport / shipping / logistics environment
* Be confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
* Have good geographical knowledge
* Counterbalance FLT licence essential
