Position: Social Media Intern Location: The Valet Group - Hq Surrey - Cover whole of the UK Type: Internship Salary: Unpaid (with potential for future employment) The valet group is seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of our social media strategy across all our brands and social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across all our company social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn - Monitor and engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner - Conduct research on industry trends and competitor strategies to help inform our social media strategy - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions - Track and analyse social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement - Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices - Assist in the creation of visual content, such as graphics and videos, to enhance our social media presence - Help manage influencer partnerships and collaborations - Support the development and maintenance of our social media calendar - Other duties as assigned by the Social Media Manager Requirements: - Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or a natural passion and ability to engage in social media - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English - Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences - Proficient in social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Buffer - Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is a plus - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with industry trends - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15-20 hours per week If you are a self-starter with a creative mindset and a passion for social media, we want to hear from you This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to make a real impact on our brand's social media presence.
