Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrical Technician to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff, and visitors across our Norfolk sites based in Norwich.
The successful candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and confident in being part of a team that provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a unique varied environment.
Main duties of the job
The Technician will undertake analysis, fault finding/diagnostics, testing, installation, routine maintenance and repair work associated with complex building, mechanical, electrical and electronic installations and equipment in an economical, efficient and safe manner and within the scope of training outside their core trade.
Provide operational and technical advice to team members and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. Undertake condition surveys and evaluate inspection reports.

Qualifications
* Recognised & registered ECITB minimum three year apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering AND City & Guilds 236 Parts A & B
* City & Guilds 2330 Electro Technical Technology inc. AM1 & AM2 or equivalent
* NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering
* City & Guilds BS7671 -18th Edition of the I.E.E Regulations
* Full UK driving license for the ability to drive Trust vehicles
* BTEC, ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Cat 5 Cable Training
Experience
* Three years relevant experience having demonstrated high technical versatility and flexibility
* Experience in maintaining a mental health environment
* Supervising a multi-based disciplined trade-based team
