What you’ll be doing
As a garage officer, you’ll be the first point of contact in the Somerset region for garage enquiries including letting garages to reacquiring them when necessary and occasionally arranging any necessary repairs required.
In collaboration with colleagues, you’ll complete site inspections looking at boundary lines and any boundary breaches, you’ll also work with our customer accounts teams to help reduce licence fees on our garages.
The team are always looking to the future and how they can support sustainability in our communities and welcome new ideas on how we can achieve this. The garage team mix commercial focus with customer service to provide efficient and effective landlord services.
About you
As we are customer focused, we are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a commercial business environment,
Part of the role will be completing the admin associated with garage letting so previous experience in an administrative role or the like is essential.
Communication and collaboration are essential parts of the role so you’ll be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, and be comfortable liaising with internal colleagues and external customers.
As we have over 6000 garages in total, you’ll look after a patch of these so you’ll need to be able to get out and about to site as and when required. This means you’ll need a full, UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
