The HSE Manager (Wells) role will be a staff position working as part of a Wells late-life and decommissioning project to ensure legal, regulatory and THREE60 Safety and Environmental Management System (SEMS) compliance. The project is for a UK-based client and encompasses platform and subsea wells, late-life asset management, decom planning and decom execution, over a multi-year period.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work in accordance with the THREE60 Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
2. Ensure compliance with UK statutory regulations and THREE60 health, safety, and environmental policies
3. Develop management system interface plans between Licence Operator, Duty Holder and Well Operator including SEMS, Emergency Response and control of work
4. Prepare, implement and manage well project HSE plans and PLANC activity
5. Prepare and lead project audit programmes between Client, THREE60 and the supply chain
6. Prepare and lead engagement programmes with UK Regulators
Competence Requirements
Knowledge & Qualifications
1. Formal qualification at minimum degree level is essential
2. Knowledge of UK well regulatory requirements and environmental considerations
3. Knowledge of safety and environmental management systems
4. Valid certification to allow travel to offshore locations
Skills & Experience
1. Minimum of 5 years oil and gas wells experience
2. Ability to instil excellence in HSE performance and behaviours is essential
3. Excellent relationship management skills are essential
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential
5. Ability to influence and use tactful assertiveness to achieve required outcomes is essential
6. Expertise in Microsoft Office suite of applications; Sharepoint, Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
7. Flexibility to travel and visit offshore locations as required
