Job Description Based on the strong results delivered, we are embarking on a new chapter in our Procurement evolution. Over the past 18 months, we have established a Group Procurement function, and we are currently seeking talented a Group Indirects Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in this transformation, which is undertaken collaboratively with divisions, as One Procurement Community. Key responsibilities Develop a strategy for categories in their ownership including optimising prices, demand, and technical aspects. Source several Indirect categories at a group level. Understand their categories and relevant market movements in-depth - be considered a subject matter expert by the divisions. Collaborate closely with the Divisional stakeholders to maximise value created. Generate and deliver significant productivity savings opportunities. Ensure adequate legal agreements are in place to protect the Business. Lead the supplier awards and commercial terms decisions process (in line with Delegation of Authority) Manage relationships with suppliers. Perform Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for Group Indirect categories. Lead supplier innovation and continuous improvement activity for your categories. Ensure strong risk management process for a portfolio of indirect categories to protect the business. Key outcomes within first 12 months: Build knowledge of your categories and relationships with key stakeholders. Establishing category plans for your categories Delivery of several category strategies Delivery of several sourcing events to achieve an in-year savings target. Outcomes for beyond 12 months Develop an overarching category plan that covers a portfolio of category areas that delivers reduced supply chain risk, improved value and improved business outcomes. Develop and deliver a long-term plan of value delivery. Progress the department by identifying process improvement opportunities and delivering them.
