We are looking for a positive, organised and motivated individual to coordinate our new service, as part of STEP Project in Denbighshire.
The aim of this project is to provide a better, overall, experience of living in temporary accommodation in Denbighshire, where people are supported to improve their wellbeing and build on their future.
STEP will support households who currently reside in temporary accommodation. Support will initially begin in existing temporary settings in the borough (B&B), before transitioning into bespoke supported living facilities, as these premises become available.
STEP is at the beginning of its journey and we are looking for a unique and talented person who is keen to travel with us.
Key Responsibilities:
To co-ordinate a team supporting families and single people living in temporary emergency accommodation across multiple sites in Rhyl.
To lead the team in the day to day activities of the service including allocation of work, case and risk management and review. Promoteinvolvement with co-production and activities.
To work with the Service Manager to develop key strategic and local partnerships and deliver quality progress reporting to ourcommissioners and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to:
Provide line management to our growing team, playing a supporting role in recruitment and development of staff.
Role model positive organisational values, apply psychologically informed practice and a trauma informed approach.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of safeguarding practise, housing and homelessness legislation.
Hold the ability to work in sympathy with the spiritual principles ofThe Salvation Army
