Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance and relevant codes standards and regulations,
2. Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including inspection reports, test results and certifications.
3. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve quality -related issues.
4. Production and maintenance of project documents, such as: Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Asset Registers, Technical Submittals, Weld Loging, Pressure Testing Schedules etc
5. Ensuring all company documentation is fully filed (both hard and electronic copy) with tracking logs up to date
6. Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department and document transmittals
7. Prepare transmittals and distribute all documents and correspondence effectively and maintain the logs
8. Assisting the project team to search and retrieving document/information
9. Reviewing the applicable equipment and tools for inspection with valid calibration certificates, maintain calibration log and calibration certificates to ensure accurate and reliable results,
10. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to appropriate personnel.
11. Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits and process improvement activities.
12. Assist in the development of quality control procedures and work instructions.
13. Providing management tools such as Status Report/Input Audit Report and any other form of monitoring report required by Project Director, Construction Manager and Quality Manager
14. Compilation of Project Sign-Off documentation
15. Manage compliance to international quality standards in provision of engineering solutions.
16. Carry out audits to ensure compliance to process
17. Stay up to date with the latest industry standards, techniques and technologies related to NDT and welding inspections.
Skills and Experience
18. Knowledge of ISO and other management systems
19. Manufacturing experience of minimum 5 years within the engineering industry
20. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret results of NDT inspections. General Minimum Qualifications
21. Full driving license
22. Familiar with welding procedures – WPS, PQR & welder qualifications.
23. Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection techniques
24. Familiar with Pipework and vessel pressure Systems PED PSSR Machinery directive / safety of machinery regulations UK and harmonised standards. (UKCA / CE certification processes).
25. ISO Trained auditor – preferably Personal Skills
26. High attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities
27. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
28. Willing to travel and work away from home when required
29. Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
30. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
31. Adaptable to changing schedules.
