My client, a fantastic PE backed business on the outskirts of Worcester Park are currently recruiting for a interim Management Accountant.
Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office - Monday-Friday - Car Park On Site! - 37 hours a week -
Job Duties:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
* Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders.
General Ledger & Cost Management:
* Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper journal entries.
* Perform month-end and year-end closings.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Analyse costs and variances to identify efficiency opportunities.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
* Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and financial plans.
* Support forecasting to aid in strategic decision-making.
Cash Flow & Audit Support:
* Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.
* Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring smooth financial reviews.
Tax & Compliance:
* Ensure accurate tax reporting, including VAT and corporation tax filings.
* Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Process Improvement & Ad-Hoc Projects:
* Lead financial projects, system improvements, and process enhancements.
What You Need to Succeed
Qualifications & Experience:
* ACCA, CIMA, or ACA Part Qualified or Finalist ideal but not essential.
Technical Skills:
* Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAGE Intaact experience is ideal).
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with budgeting/forecasting tools.
* Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
