We have a very successful Events department, running over 100 events a year, across the globe and we have an exciting opportunity for an Event Operations Coordinator to join this busy and dynamic department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career within the events world.
Key Responsibilities
* Research suitable conference, dinner, drinks, and award ceremony venues, working with the Event Operations Manager to determine the best option.
* Work with the Event Operations Manager to negotiate and contract the venues.
* Manage the events onsite and direct the necessary support to ensure the successful execution of the events.
* Travel internationally.
* Demonstrate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* Liaise with external suppliers and contractors.
* Produce and file important documentation pertaining to each event.
* Conduct pre-and-post event evaluations with team members and report on the findings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Highly organised.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
