This is an exciting opportunity for a professional trainer to join our team in England, Greater London, Walthamstow.
We are seeking an experienced HGV Trainer who can work on a permanent, full-time basis, delivering high-quality training programs to our HGV drivers.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for HGV drivers, using engaging and interactive approaches to ensure maximum learning retention.
* Training Materials: Design and create training materials and resources that meet the needs of our HGV drivers, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
* Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of our HGV drivers' performance, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
* Collaboration: Work closely with our logistics and transportation teams to ensure that training programs are aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
* Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in logistics and transportation, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of logistics and transportation principles, including HGV regulations and industry standards.
* Excellent Instructional Design Skills: The ability to design and deliver engaging and interactive training programs that meet the needs of our HGV drivers.
* Experience Working with Adults: Proven experience working with adult learners, including training and developing skills in logistics and transportation.
* Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and HGV drivers, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a larger team.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.
