Job Purpose
Your role within our R&D team will be to support and direct activities within our highly regarded Solid Paint Expertise Centre. This will involve developing a fundamental understanding of key coating attributes and applying this understanding to develop new technologies and potential product solutions.
Job Responsibilities
1. Design, carry-out, evaluate & interpret experiments to show the positive benefits of new ideas/technologies.
2. Ensure work is completed in-line with quality/health & safety standards.
3. Communicate project results & plan next steps with colleagues/stakeholders.
4. Contribute to the smooth operation of lab facilities through assigned non-core tasks.
5. Support innovation activities outside your immediate project area as needed.
Job Requirements
1. Relevant R&D experience.
2. Ideally a graduate in a scientific or chemical engineering discipline.
3. Good laboratory skills.
4. Strong understanding of the importance of working safely.
5. UK driving license beneficial but not essential.
