Our client is currently in the process of relocating operations to their NI site, giving the successful applicant the chance to work with autonomy in creating structure in a growing transport/dispacth function. As the Transport Manager you will have full responsibilit for the development and mainteance of excellent service levels to enhance continuous improvement across numerous sister companies, with a primary focus on the NI site. Oversee the effective usage of the company TMS Oversee relationsips with 3rd party providers Liaise with other group business units on the development of SLAs Amend and improve the existing transport infrastructure and processeses Ensure that your team are adhering to company policies and regulations. To set strategic objectives to create motivation and job satisfaction for all staff reporting direct to the postholder. To work in accordance with all company policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental. What you will need to succeed: CPC qualification or working towards. Experience of TMS usage Experience in or knowledge of Transport Modelling Systems Strong management capability with a confident and positive approach to challenges.
