Job Title: Site Manager - Refurbishment Works Location: Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire Key Roles and Responsibilities: As a Site Manager, your primary duties will include: Overseeing the day-to-day management of projects, including sub-contractors on site. Reviewing client instructions and schedules, ensuring a full understanding of project requirements. Reading and interpreting construction drawings and designs. Conducting site inspections to maintain high standards of work and health & safety compliance. Managing labour and materials to meet project deadlines efficiently. Adhering to all health & safety regulations and quality control standards. Identifying and communicating project variations to the Contracts Manager. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Handling client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally. Leading team meetings covering performance, operational delivery, health & safety updates, company information, and training. Conducting inspections of completed work, documenting and signing off using app-based systems. Person Specification: To be successful in this role, you should have: Proven experience in supervising and managing refurbishment projects. Experience working in occupied environments. A valid SMSTS certificate. Strong ability to interpret drawings and specifications. Effective time management skills and experience working towards tight deadlines. Knowledge and oversight of all health & safety procedures and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Understanding of site procedures and best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and interact with clients. Commercial awareness with the ability to identify contract variations. What We Offer: Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Company car or car allowance (where applicable)
